Disney Treasure Exterior

Are you ready for an adventure on the high seas? Disney Cruise Line’s latest addition to its fleet, the Disney Treasure, will set sail in December 2024, and it’s sure to be a dream come true for Disney fans of all ages.

The Disney Treasure is the sixth ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, joining Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy and Disney Wish. The layout of Disney Treasure is similar to Disney Wish, which had its maiden voyage in 2022. But where Wish has an overall theme of fairy tales, Treasure’s look and feel focus more on mysterious adventure. To fit the theme, Captain Minnie will wear a special adventure-seeking outfit and will appear on the ship’s bow and stern.

The Cabins

The 1,256 cabins and suites continue the theme of adventure. Some of the movies integrated into the interiors for the interior, ocean-view and verandah cabins include  Disney’s “Aladdin”, “Pocahontas”, “Finding Nemo”, “Up”, “Luca”, and “Encanto”. The Concierge Suites will include decor inspired by “The Lion King,” and the four Royal Suites will pay homage to the tigers in “The Jungle Book” and “Aladdin”. The signature suite on the ship is the two-story Tomorrow Tower Suite, which is inspired by Epcot and features futuristic designs.

Restaurants and Lounges

Each Disney Cruise Ship includes three restaurants that guests rotate through each night. Disney Treasure has one restaurant that is new to the fleet, and two restaurants that are featured on Disney Wish, with a slightly different take. Plaza de Coco, a new Mexican restaurant will feature two all new dinner shows. Worlds of Marvel, and 1923, both found on Disney Wish are the other two restaurants that guests rotate through.

Apart from the main three restaurants, Disney Treasure will offer a wide array of dining options to suit every taste and budget. From casual dining at the poolside grill to fine dining at one of the ship’s upscale restaurants, guests will have plenty of options. The ship will also feature a variety of bars and lounges that are 21+.

Disney Treasure will have bars that are themed after park attractions, not just movies and characters. The new Skipper Society bar is inspired

by Disney’s Jungle Cruise attraction and will

offer a menu of themed cocktails and light snacks. The Periscope Pub is inspired by Jules Verne’s “Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea” and Disney’s 1954 movie version and is the Treasure’s sports bar. Designed to look like the Nautilus submarine, complete with porthole windows and a ceiling designed to look like you’re underwater. The third bar is inspired by the Haunted Mansion park attraction and is designed to resemble a first-class drawing room on a classic oceanliner with a spooky twist.
